‘About Our Place’ – Bendigo Writers Festival Grand Finale 2014

Central Victorian writers, story-performers and poets are invited this Sunday night at the Bendigo Writers Festival to an event called ‘About Our Place.’ It is sponsored by Bendigo TAFE writing program and will be run by writer and poet Neil Boyack. The event will be in place of the poetry slam event held previously and will be similar in structure (though non-competitive and stories will be welcomed). Recite/perform for 3 minutes (max) a story or a poem about anything related to Central Victoria – hence the ‘my place’ theme. Locals and others wishing to participate will congregate at the event (at festival’s end) to celebrate, share thoughts and catch-up with friends.

When: Sunday 10 Aug. Register after 3.45; Perform 4-5pm
